In my last post, I talked about bursting into tears at a simple invitation at seeing things differently.
When I searched for an image of burst - for this follow-up post - I was toggling between fire and water and then I found this fish and her tail and it encapsulates everything I need to say. She is both fire and water. She is both fierce and fragile. She exists in her own element, balancing opposites. She is perfect and odd. She is flawed and alive. Her breathe is her dignity.
So many people right now (and for those not following astrology, it could get even more intense the next weeks) are feeling the churning of something. Large changes are happening lightening fast. Old emotions and ideas are rising to surfaces, demanding attention, while grocery bills are mind-boggling and daily life is finding a way to upturn daily ease. Here, we know how to meet that - Sitting. We talk about pausing, listening and moving with inspiration and writing - creating worlds with our words. So what world are we creating?
Are we creating only fire or water? Only one won’t do. Are we stopping or starting? We need both, a surrender and a rise. We create in the balance of opposites. It is common when an uncommon perspective is offered like:
A final flourish of Pisces season, and the emotional waters that have been asking for release or to be felt or to share something with each of us in our own way
A permission to not “could-have-done-better” a phrase and expectation that I am seeing everywhere and all too much. The idea of the simple present moment, that actually contains everything is apparently not enough. It needs to be filtered, pushed, and constantly improved, over appreciated.
The invitation that nothing needs to be fixed.
Rest on that one my friend. Look at that fish flourishing with her tail in the very same world that we are being told is horrible and fading. Look at the inherent beauty in her existence and then look in the mirror. Try telling yourself, “Nothing needs to be fixed,” until you mean it.
You may feel a small burst of your own.
The times are wild.
We left water for fire (Aries season) and we are in the midst of great change no matter what your perspective, yet the choice to see great beauty is always upon us, including when we allow our beings to burst forth in whatever way they need to be held, seen, or sheltered in the moment.

Journal prompt for you:
Read this phrase: Nothing needs to be fixed.
Now take a few deliberate inhales and exhales.
Scan for tension in the body.
Repeat the phrase: Nothing needs to be fixed.
Notice if there is release or resistance, grab a pen and start writing.

I noticed a release that feels both mystical and miraculous tonight. Thank you for this beauty and the glory of right here right now. ❤️
