Hi there + Happy Moonday to you.
We are in a pretty potent week of energy and celebration should we embrace it. We are also in great times of inverse. I remember the first time I heard that Free Will, the very thing we covet as a Human Being, is to be surrendered not to another, but to that which birthed us, that which inspires each breath of our existence. There is so much here to say I thought it best to hand it over to Hafiz to start our week.
It was that contemplation on Free Will that gave me this a-ha: If I only focus on what I know, I cannot have a new solution. However, if I allow a great possibility, there are limitless options available to me if I allow them and meet their frequency.
Since we have a full moon that is offering us some compassionate respite and celebration; since it is a time of great disturbance or clarity depending on our relationship with the moon’s fluctuations and the fluctuations of our mind, let’s start with some clear thinking about the cosmic nature of The Golden Thread from our friend, and playful poet, Hafiz.
Rewards for Clear Thinking
Think about this for a second:
God (being God), having Infinite Knowledge, Not only knew your every thought and action Your life would ever experience
(Even before you were born)
But He also, being the Divine Creator, Has etched every moment of your existence With His own hand With the precious care No artist ever could
Think about this for a moment:
I have never head a bird or the sun, Ever say to God, I am sorry.
There seems to be a great reward For clear thinking: All existence is a pawn in the Friend’s hands.
Look, one gets wings and gifts to the world Music each morning; One turns into such and extraordinary light She actually becomes a sustainer of a whole planet, One makes a thousand moons go mad with love And blush all night When one can surrender the illusion, the crutch, of Free will,
Though still live—for the benefit of other—The highest of moral Codes.
- Hafiz
Enjoy the energy of this Full Moon Day as we turn the wheel of Equinox on the 22nd. I’ll see you here again, then.
